Rated Good by Ofsted, Children’s Garden Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old. You can find us on campus at the University of East London (UEL), close to several DLR stations. We are a community nursery, open to all. Many of our staff speak more than one language.
Our friendly, dedicated staff run lots of activities designed to bring out the potential in every child. The children enjoy science experiments, cooking, gardening, construction, messy play with sand and water and more.

Hope, Nursery Manager
Hello, my name is Hope and I am the manager at Children's Garden Nursery and Preschool. I joined LEYF in 2024 and bring 18 years experience In the early years. I am passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. My goal is to help children develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning while enjoying a happy and fulfilling childhood. At children's garden nursery, we work hard to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues as it is the heart our practice. We believe effective partnerships are key to achieving the best outcomes for children.

Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
